Mitsotakis urges Greeks to get vaccinated as soon as possible
Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis informed President Katerina Sakellaropoulou of the pandemic, the progress of vaccinations and the economy regarding the submission of the national recovery plan to the European Commission.

“It is a plan which has the capacity to completely reorganize the productive model of the country, to allocate significant resources in the digital transition and in the effort to transform the Greek economy into a zero carbon economy,” he said. he continued.

Speaking about the situation in the national health system, he said that 95% of people in intensive care are not fully vaccinated, “so it is our duty to all to send this message, especially to our most vulnerable citizens. . “
âI have said many times, and I will say it again, that the best vaccine is the fastest vaccine,â the Prime Minister said.
“The sooner we are vaccinated, the sooner we will protect ourselves from the effects of a disease which can be extremely dangerous,” Mitsotakis added.
For his part, Sakellaropoulou noted that “it is positive and fills us with hope that in the weeks to come”.
