Reports of gunshots; vehicle shot down; stones thrown through vehicle windows; trailer with concrete equipment worth $135,000 stolen – Your Local News

The City of Monroe Police Department reported the following incidents for the period June 30 to July 7, 2022. Due to its length, this report has been divided into five parts. This is the last part. Please note that an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

  • Argument – GW Carver Dr in reference to a subject throwing dog poop at his sister and then arguing with his mother.
  • Dispute – West Spring St in reference to a female subject unplugging and replugging slot machines. She was served with criminal intrusion.
  • Road traffic accident with injuries – S Broad and Mill St. Subject left the roadway and struck a tree. Subject was transported by friends before law enforcement arrived. Contact was made in Piedmont Walton. She received a citation for not keeping the lane. Unknown extent of injuries caused by medical personnel who provided medical aid.
  • Dispute – East Washington St Apt 20 in reference to a complaint from a third party regarding a verbal dispute. Caller not on site, area checked, spoke to occupants of apartment 20. All good.
  • Property Damage – East Church St. Male’s subject reported that his vehicle was shot multiple times. CID notified. CID and Crime Scene responded.
  • Mandate service – rue Alcovy; c-9 – In reference to a female subject with a probation warrant. She was taken to Walton County Jail without incident.
  • Entering Auto – Walton Street – In reference to a complainant reporting that his truck entered between Saturday evening and Sunday morning, and his daughter’s wallet and engagement ring were taken. Report taken.
  • Property Damage – Plaza Dr; Seven Seas Traders – In reference to two vehicles that had rocks thrown through the windows in the past few months. Report taken.
  • Sexual Assault – W Spring St. The incident happened in Athens. The Athens-Clarke County Police Department was notified and they indicated they would attend.
  • Stolen/Lost Item – Maple Ln G. Refers to a cell phone that has not been seen since the last date. The Complainant was tracking the phone and listed the above address as the location.
  • Suspicious person – South Madison Avenue. In reference to two juveniles on the porch. Contact was made with juveniles looking for yards to cut.
  • Flight – Cherry Hill Road; Southeast Concrete Floors – In reference to a large flatbed trailer carrying concrete equipment with a total value of approximately $135,000 stolen between Friday evening and this morning. Flock cameras hit the trailer in the Gwinnett County area. Gwinnett County was notified to BOLO, and the trailer and equipment were registered on the GCIC as stolen.
  • Threats – Cook Pl. Narrico Brown advised an unknown man to make threats. Asked for a ride through town. Everything is fine.
  • Property damage – East Church Street. In reference to a damaged mailbox on 06/30/2022.
  • Dispute – East Fambrough St in reference to a male subject confronting a female for an unknown reason. Separate parts. Everything is fine.
  • Dog Complaint – Unisia Drive WALMART DC. The pit bull charged at the competition and left marks on his leg. Report taken AC notified.
  • Overdose – Pavilion Parkway in reference to a client who was lying on the ground and not breathing. The man had overdosed on opioids and was unconscious. Narcan administered. Delivered to EMS for transportation.
  • Zone Control -Davis, Lacy, Pine Park, Harris. Foot patrol due to recent events in the area. (fire/material damage)
  • Unknown Law – Alcovy St & Sherwood Dr. Unconscious male subject on side of road. He was arrested for public drunkenness.
  • Dispute – South Broad St Lot 165 in reference to unknown person at the scene wanting to fight, unknown subject missing when officers arrived. Spoke to people in lot 165, they said everything was fine.
  • Dispute – West Spring St. Two women had a verbal argument over an article due to a delay. Report take CT issued
  • Traffic Violation – Pine Park st & Mears. Vehicle stopped for unusable headlight. Driver arrested for driving with suspended licence. Vehicle given to spouse.
  • Traffic stop – E Church St @ Tall Oaks. Stop for brake light off. PC search performed. Female subject arrested for possession of Schedule II, drugs to be kept in original container and traffic violation.
  • Other Law – Knight Street. A woman said she found a bicycle belonging to her sons in the yard of this property. Report completed.
  • Civil Litigation – Walker Drive. Man and woman in verbal argument over civil matters, remedies advised.
  • Dispute – West Spring Street – A woman was on site causing a disturbance. She was brought home.
  • Other Law – West Spring Street – In reference to a homeless woman in need of help. She was driven to Taylors and a bus ticket was purchased for her to return to New Mexico.
  • Dispute – Pine Park Street in reference to two women who had a fight and one claimed the other broke her phone.
  • Dispute – Tanglewood Dr; The couple argued and advised civil remedies, report taken.
  • Juvenile Complaint – Rose Ison Ter in reference to a mother arguing with her 16-year-old child. The mother was taken into custody for battery against her son.
  • Flight – W. Spring St. Quality Foods; In reference to the complainant who left his old cell phone in his personal cart near Quality Foods to go to another store. No suspicious information or camera footage available.
  • Litigation – Magnolia Terrace. Couple involved in verbal argument over custody issues, report filed.
  • Dispute – E. Fambrough; B. A woman complained that another had hit her head earlier in the day in another place. No marks were observed and a report was written.
  • Property damage – West Spring Street; In reference to a subject backing into the plaintiff’s vehicle and driving off.
  • Assault – Piedmont Walton – In reference to a man who was assaulted by another man on Cook Pl. The victim did not know who the man was and only knew him by nickname.
  • Suspicious Person – E Church St & Young St – in reference to a man standing on his porch, aiming a shotgun at passing vehicles. Zone checked with negative contact.
  • Other Law – S Madison Ave: A woman named wanted to report a topic by the name of another woman who allegedly sold other women on Facebook and possibly took her prescription drugs in her vehicle. Report taken
  • Civil matter – Sorrells St. – In reference to a neighbor who let her dog poop in the plaintiff’s yard. Suggested remedies; mediated situation.
  • Firearms -N. Broad Street @ Perry St – A woman reported hearing 11-12 gunshots in the area behind Church’s. The area has been checked with a negative contact.
