COXSACKIE — Sleepy Hollow Lake Solar Committee Chairman Alden B. Kaplan told the Greene County Industrial Development Agency on Tuesday that trust is hard to come by in the committee’s attempt to address watershed issues. with the company planning a large solar power farm on Flint Mine Road.

In testimony at a hearing held by the Greene County IDA Board of Directors, Kaplan said the committee wants to protect drinking water for households and recreational waters in the lake. He added that the committee has supported IDA, but DESRI/Flint Mine’s recommendations to resolve the issues are insufficient.
